Enjoy something special once in a while
Don't be too hard on yourself. Fuel the soul with a piece of chocolate or a glass of wine on a Friday night, because you deserve it! A diet is so much more than just food - it’s feelings, it’s joy and it’s a lifestyle. Food shouldn’t be something that you associate with bad feelings or anxiety. Instead of trying different diets, try to find a balance and something that works for you. It’s all about balance. You shouldn’t be too extreme in either way - don’t eat too much, and don’t eat too little. Balance your training, and don’t be too hard on yourself. A diet should be varied and include vegetables, slow carbs, and a good source of protein. But there should also be space for food for your soul, something that gives you pleasure. It might be a piece of cake, a glass of wine, or a pizza on a Friday night.
